The untimely passing of Jim Delgrosso in October saddened all who knew him, and while we’ll miss Jim, the work of the Lehigh Valley Contractors Association must continue. By way of introduction, I am the new Executive Director of the Lehigh Valley Contractors Association. I am also the former Executive Director of our organization, serving from 1974 to 1987. Joan Bozio and I were co-workers during some of those years. My career took me to management construction groups in New Jersey, Washington, and Cincinnati and, most recently, in Philadelphia as Executive Vice-President of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Eastern Pennsylvania. My wife Lois and I moved back to the area when I retired. I have worked closely with construction Labor Unions and know the importance of professional relationships with developers, designers and government and community leaders. Join me at our Spring Annual meeting. A date will be announced very soon. I look forward to your welcome and learning how we might better work together to improve our presence in local union construction.
